When planes fall out of the sky on fire in or near an active war zone I guess there are more fitting captions than „crashed“.

I also can’t verify that information, but if you search for it there are more sources out there stating the same incident so I‘d assume it has indeed happened before.

Not too many movements at that small airport, with the Dutch 737 waiting at the runway for your landing it can only be that arrival. I was a few miles away and saw that one departing after your landing. 😉Always an experience flying into Innsbruck no matter the weather.
