Rhona and Amanda are identical twins - their lives have often mirrored each other. This year both were diagnosed with breast cancer within weeks of each other.

But they've remained positive and started a TikTok account to raise awareness.

UPDATE: Police have recovered a firearm during searches of the Roseburn path in Edinburgh, they say it’s part of Operation Portaledge, the ongoing investigation into gang related violence across Scotland’s central belt.

UCU members will take industrial action on Friday June 20th - a University open day.

Then a further five days during β€˜welcome week’.

8-year-old Sam has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a genetic muscle wasting disease.

A new treatment is coming but with it yet to be approved for NHS use time is muscle. His parents hope it'll be available to Sam soon.

NEW: The University of Edinburgh says it needs to close a financial gap of 10% of its turnover (Β£140 Million) in the next 18 months.

β€œRadical action” will mean a lower staff base and the Uni will review all capital expenditure - including approved projects.
