In case you were wondering about my OC Mindy’s lore, she’s a shapeshifting ex-goddess who loves sex. She got kicked out of the Heavenly 9 Realms for “bad behavior” and banished to Earth. I explore her earthly exploits through my traditional watercolor paintings.

Tools I use:
* Mechanical pencil HB lead
* Daniel Smith watercolor paints
*DaVinci Titanium White Gouache
* Meeden, Artegria synthetic squirrel brushes
*Canson XL Watercolor Paper 11” x 15”

Not a bad idea. I normally have anime playing in the background, but I should try music as inspiration.

Next piece will be a NSFW painting for my support site. Subject: Vampire Mindy getting hot and heavy with a Werewolf.

I use a lot of reference material. I also need to sketch more. I’m the most hardest on myself, I think.

I just keep doodling until something sticks. That’s why it takes me 3 days to complete a piece from sketch to finished painting. I’m rather slow and indecisive. Hehe 😉
