It's great so many people and orgs are becoming aware of surveillance. But awareness is not the same as having a strategy. Learn from orgs like @conmijente.bsky.social @mediajustice.bsky.social who have been doing this work for years
The Trump admin has been sending subpoenas to social media companies demanding the names of people running anti-ICE accounts, and we know they're dramatically expanding the use of:
-facial recognition
-flock cameras (license plate scanners)
-cell phone location data
-Palantir database tools
Emails from the Jeffrey Epstein files show the late pedophile trying to connect far-right tech mogul Peter Thiel and former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak on at least six separate occasions.
Palantir is an AI + data surveillance tech company that makes billions from govt contracts and helps ICE search through a national database of info on US citizens. With HB 1471, protesting against this type of mass surveillance could be punished by law.

Someone in the Commons really does need to ask to what extent Palantir — supposedly involved in saving lives in the NHS — is simultaneously ending them in the Middle East.
