And just you motherfuckers wait until the enforcers come out in a gI. They are fucked.

My introduction to Maggie Rogers was her excellent Tiny Desk concert. Then I listened to her album - not acoustic - and was like, why did you ruin your own songs?
Tell that to Hitler before commencing Operation Barbarossa.β¦.
Great cage wrestling. Average leg attacks. IMO
I teamed up with the good folks at @moreperfectunion.bsky.social to tell the story of UFCβs monopoly and their attempted boxing takeover. Please share far and wide.

I spent 4 years as a Division I athlete and have been involved in professional MMA for over two decades. Iβve had surgery without numbing agents. A tooth infection was the worst pain of my life.
Also, if you listen to him talk on long form interview, you get a sense that he is not even close to dumb. Which, in this case, seems bad!
Agreed! Iβm just saying you can be βstrongβ in a way that matches the needs of your district or state
I genuinely believe that Mamdaniβs unwillingness to budge on Palestine in NYC and Gaellgoβs refusal to use Latinx at a time when that was majorly out of step with party elites are two sides of the same coin.
Fully agree. Itβs not βprogressive v moderate.β Itβs βstrong and clear v weak.β
Isnβt there a genuinely appropriate compromise of projecting strength in a way that matches your district or state? I see Gallego and AOC as projecting strength while appropriately representing different constituencies
Thank you for sharing. This is beautiful writing.
I agreed with this until I read Caroβs book, Passage of Power. The fact is that JFK and Bobby were the only two people in power who didnβt want war. That goes a long way.
Good stuff! Although this fight might tell us something about a Khamzat Strickland fight, I think these clips show a key difference between Fluffy and Khamzat: unlike Fluffy, Khamzat doesnβt require the clinch to get his takedowns.
I donβt think polling on data centers is helpful for strategic (as opposed to tactical) decisions. In my real life experience, people often donβt have set views on the issue until a proposed data center comes to their community and people organize and raise hell over it. Itβs ripe for persuasion.
βGive us our money backβ is a rallying cry - like attacks on the Epstein class - that should united Democrats from Bernie Sanders to Joe Manchin.
SCOTUS remains laser focused on saving their retirement accounts and Trumpβs presidency.
Itβs also a good way for swing state dems to establish independent bonafides. βI am working to expel members of the Epstein class from the party.β
My problem with this whole line of ads was that it treated swing voters as gullible rubes. They arenβt just going to take Kamalaβs word for it when she says βnational sales tax.β They needed to explain and support their claims
The Woody Allen line is next level. βWhoa, buddy. Iβm defending adults raping teens here. Thatβs entirely separate from my belief that step dads should groom their step daughters.β
This is way worse than Hitlerβs approval rating in America in 1939. Maybe even in 1943.
I have been beating this drum for a long time. Body cameras are essential in a democracy. When crimes are caught on camera (George Floyd, Renee Good, Alex Pretti), they cause more outrage. And when LE turns off body cameras illegally, it creates another reason for outrage
Matt, have you ever written about whether the advantages of moderation are relative or absolute? I.e., if the whole Democratic Party were aligned with MGP and Golden, would their moderation confer much of an advantage? Or is being seen as independent and right of the average D what matters?
crazy that basically every person complaining about "woke overreach" over the last 12 years is also in the epstein emails being like "thanks for the pussy, jeff ;)"
Here is Peter Attia MD emailing Epsteinβs assistant claiming he goes into βJE withdrawalβ when he doesnβt see him.
Iβm very pleased to be in the small percentage of Bluesky posters to burst out laughing when I saw this

NEWS from @propublica.org: The two federal agents who killed Alex Pretti are Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez. Ochoa joined CBP in 2018. Gutierrez joined in 2014. Both are from south Texas.

That was my card, too
