"Hey UKCH, please, please, PLEASE try and use this video!
The two cops are my mates from Worksop Response in Nottinghamshire.
The lad barking is one of the nicest blokes I know—this has had everyone in tears!" 🐶

Look...
If you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted—
In one moment—
Would you capture it, or just let it slip?
Wild police chase in Sheffield...! 👀
Context welcome 🤣 Was stinger deployed? NPAS allocated? (Probably not, looks a bit cloudy.)
Turns out chasing loose ponies around Abbey Wood is all in a day’s work for the police. It’s more common than you’d think—maybe there should be a College of Policing module on ‘Equine Evasions 101’? Giddy-up, team!
"Hey UKCH,
Unfortunately, our Sergeant's Dancing on Ice audition didn’t go quite to plan. You’ll be glad to know he made it back to his nice, warm office unscathed—leaving the real work to the officers out there!"
Peek-a-boo 🐶
So there's no need to get shouty, or talk about "back in my day", or complain that you don't see officers on the beat anymore.
It's an Open Day. They're appealing to people that aren't you. Next time, they might make a video that you like and others don't. That's fine too!

Staffordshire Police jumping on the "Letting Gen Z write our marketing script" trend for their Open Day.
Also, we already love how much some of you are going to hate this, and you know what? That's fine! This isn't targeted at you...
Top work by the Met's robbery patrol team and air support!
Remember: Look out for each other and stay safe out there! 💙
One arrest made, multiple victims one step closer to justice...
It’s a cracking reminder that when the Met are given the space to focus on their job—fighting crime and catching criminals—they deliver results. Credit where it’s due: outstanding work all round.
After multiple robberies across Hackney and Islington, the Met’s robbery patrol team was already on high alert. When this suspect was spotted, officers didn’t hesitate. With support from the police helicopter, the chase was on, and the thief’s attempt to escape was brought to a swift end.
When it comes to chasing down criminals, the Met’s officers are on top form. In this case, a phone thief on an e-bike thought he could outpace both officers on the ground and the eagle-eyed team in the sky. Spoiler alert: he was wrong...
You just never know what job opportunities are around the corner...
Overheard on the radio last week during the snow:
Control: "Can any units give an update for the FCR manager on current weather conditions and how many inches of snow we’ve got?"
Female officer (deadpan): "Is that male or female inches?"
Control: 🤣🤣🤣🤣
While details remain scarce, we’re sure everyone involved is questioning their life choices—and possibly their driving test results. In the meantime, perhaps Greggs and Krispy Kreme in the area could brace for impact tomorrow?
Well, it seems one unnamed firearms unit in Wales decided to spice up their day by conducting a ram raid on their own station gates. Not entirely clear whether this was an innovative new tactic or just an overzealous gear shift, but the gates certainly didn’t come out on top...
Reason #37 Why Cops Shouldn't Be Single Crewed:
AFO's - so much more than crayons and protein shakes 😉
