I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!

Ugh ugh I’m rambly mode again which means the meds have kicked in OFJFK hopefully work keeps me occupied today

Then again I got the petty and judgmental parts bullied out of me.

Maybe I just swung in the other direction into people pleaser OFJFK but it’s about finding that balance.

I’m finding my voice again without going into “What I like and how I like it is the Only Way that’s Good and Correct”

And I’m like… it /is/ possible to change from that and grow and mature. It’s not impossible. You just gotta want to put in the active work to do it. Most people I’d say who it’d be harder to grow from that aren’t ones that are self aware of it

Btw this is NOT at all about the common “oh you’ll change your mind with wanting kids” or anything like that.

More things like “I’m petty and judgemental and always have been and won’t change. That’s my personality”

I get it’s annoying to hear “you’ll change your mind” or similar but it’s hard to articulate I wanna come from a place of “I hope you continue to grow because it’s so rewarding to allow that for yourself”

The 20yo’s who tell me with conviction that who they are now is Absolutely who they’re gonna be the rest of their life
