Then again, I am seeing contradicting news on if this is the series ending or just part two ending and we are getting a part three, which is part of the reason I am "wait and see"

There is also the aspect that the end of death(death being eaten by pochita) doesn't lead to an end of suffering, it prolongs it, worsens it, and creates more.
One aspect of Buddhism is that nearly everything is temporary.
This is all basic thoughts though.
This realization also leading to Pochita seeking a cessation of existence.
There is also the aspect that now that I think of it, you could argue that as time goes on, Denji is like an asura.
Much of that comes from how like, Pochita isn't incorrect in how Denji's life is actually much worse than it was when he was basically a debt slave to the yakuza, how he has gone through so much suffering. His happiness is fleeting but his suffering keeps on going.
The one thing I have been thinking about, and I talked about this with a friend last night is "Hmm, this makes me think I should do a reading from a perspective of Buddhist thematics"
I am holding out untill the next chapter to say anything definitive with either what is going to happen or what I even think this means. Fujimoto has shown me time and time again that making definitive statements when his work is unfinished is a good way to prove myself wrong.
This is only semi-related, but occasionally reddit reccomends to me a subreddit called r/poorazula. While it recognizes she's a tragic figure, it does seem to try to gloss over what she actually did in the series way too much while ignoring the agency as a character. This reminds me of that.
March of time comes for us all!
2011 was 15 years ago, someone who was 8 then is entering their mid 20s nowadays. Someone who was 15 then is now turning 30.
Just reposted this thread but to expand:
I think people confuse social capital with actual... capital.
Like a lot of people get VERY angry that so many trans women have large followings here and on other sites but:
1) They are not the largest accounts.
2) They are still mostly poor as fuck.
This is one of those speeches that sticks with me ever since I saw it on one of my uncle's VHS tapes(He was only 8 years older than me, so had a lot of VHS tapes from the 90s)

Even sentai had a kid ranger just a couple of years prior(and only a year after Eva, Megaranger would have an entire sentai of teens)
And after. People tend to forget that Eva's contemporaries mostly wasn't the classic universal century Gundam, but more so franchises like the brave series or Eldoran, which were much more conventional super robot series heavily featuring kid protagonists.
Getting over it meanwhile has always come off as a commentary on these sorts of games as well, as well as pre-made assets. "Why are you doing this? You know this is going to upset and frustrated you."among many other things.
Takeshi's Challenge meanwhile is asking"Why do you play video games? What is the point?" And wanting you to go do something else with your life.
Qwop makes you think about how surprisingly difficult walking is and how it only seems easy because we have the muscle memory so ingrained it's natural for nearly everyone.

Takeshi's challenge
with seemingly only Getting over it, Takeshi's Castle, and Qwop being the only ones of these games with staying power(probabaly because all of them actually have something to say)
I think they deserve to exist, but it does feel at times that most of them are made more to annoy people than say anything. Notably, alot of these games tend to be known as memes where you watch markiplier get angry (continued)
โฆ I am so happy right now.
Clarity of rules matters much more than how complex they are or how many there are.
Draw Steel(IMO) meanwhile is an example where it is a combat focused game that also manages to have satisfying social mechanics thanks to negotiations using a combination of interest+patience.
