Honestly, our Iranian adventure is a perfect parable for Trump's governance at home: build nothing and wantonly destroy everything, all the while skimming as much off the top as possible.
I particularly resent rags like Daily Mail gleefully reporting Trump’s bullying of Starmer. It’s disloyal and hypocritical - they’d be screaming from rooftops if U.K. meekly followed European diktats, yet would have us unquestioningly kowtow to Trump. Starmer’s task is incredibly difficult.

Moreover, Trump going around pissing off every single ally that doesn’t unquestioningly obey him is a dumb policy, for when the going gets tough in Iran. Eventually, even your best friends lose patience.
There were no evacuation plans because then it would be a big broadcast news that Americans were leaving because they would be military action from the US against Iran.
And if that was uncovered, all the insider trading from the WH would not have taken place.
It’s not hard to figure it out why.
