I went on a business trip and spent the whole time (plus two extra nights, until I was OK to leave isolation) in a hotel room in Las Vegas. Thanks, people who „are sure they’re getting sick“ for flying on my airplane without masks. I was 😷. Wasn’t good enough. 😩

Beautiful skies over Berlin yesterday, noontime and sunset.
A few weeks ago I went to the Yoko Ono exhibit at the Gropius Bau, and really liked a lot of it. This was really fun: instructions to hammer a nail into the painting, and I chose to add a $2 bill (yes, that’s a real US bill) that I’ve carried in my wallet for almost 15 years. I loved participating.

Seven years ago today my husband and I were about to move to Germany. It was a really hard time, as my dear stepfather was gravely ill and actually died on February 13th. Always a poignant time of year, with hope and loss all mixed together. This little guy, however, continues to brighten life.
