“Touching grass” is shorthand for this message. Finding purpose by exploring nature, connecting with friends and building community, these are all very regularly talked about among the “log off” advocates. Pretending otherwise is disingenuous.

Like, yes, tech solutions to tech caused attention deficit and social isolation are silly, obviously. The videos most profound message, that having purpose outside of your digital life is the stronger solution, assumes that isn’t what most rational thinkers haven’t already concluded.
