Turns out Brexit Derangement Syndrome is a thing after all.

There's no placating the Brexiters, no reasoning with them, no basic comprehension or adulthood. You can't debate papers behaving like the Sun or the Mail this morning. There's nothing to debate with. They view all trading relations with Europe as humiliation.

On Monday 19 May 2025, from 10am, representatives of over a hundred citizen's and campaigning groups will gather outside Downing Street for a Grassroots Summit Welcome Event to celebrate the first summit meeting of UK and EU leaders since Brexit.
