Finishing something is its own skillset, and you need to practice it in order to be good at it. You'll encounter so many unknown unknowns before you reach the end of a project. Start small so you can get to the end of things and reveal some of them before you start on your giant magnum opus.
It's a weird, tentacly and purply monster with three rows of big teeth.
Getting back into Blender has been fun.
