Earlier this year, the APPG on Prostate Cancer heard evidence from projects in Europe and the UK looking at screening for prostate cancer. This new report builds on this and highlights how the UK should take learnings from these forward for early detection: appgprostatecancer.org.uk/news-and-upd...

Todayβs decision on screening is profoundly concerning. Black men and men with a family history still wonβt be offered screening, despite facing some of the highest risks and worst outcomes.
This isnβt good enough.

So good to drop in to a packed out @pcr-uk.bsky.social event yesterday on behalf of my constituents. It is clear men are dying needlessly because we don't screen for prostate cancer. A targeted programme for those at highest risk could save thousands of lives. I'm so glad to support the campaign!

Great to drop by the Prostate Cancer Research reception today.
PCRβs recent report demonstrates that a national screening programme is not just life saving, but cost effective.
Prostate cancer remains the most common cancer in men, it is high time the Government worked to reduced these statistics.
