Ham on this spring like morning single leading the puppies without the distraction of a “sexy” female with him🐩We are still trying to find answers on his uti and the last culture didn’t help, so we will do a longer course of dual antibiotics and go from there. Good news is he is as happy as ever
Ham got to go today! Not in lead because Olive had a split heat cycle and been in basically all winter. Here’s to hoping Ham gets to end frustrating season (despite his two wins) for him on good note

He is on the trip and might race, we’ll leave that up to the vets but he crushed a 17 mile leg stretcher yesterday🙂
Quick turnaround this week and right back to the races. Was a bit of a stressful week, but we are on the road and Hammy’s issue seems under control after a couple vet visits. Hiawatha Heritage here we come 🐩

Sounds like Erin and team got second place with a really great time, she snacked and stopped several times to baby them through a distance they haven’t trained up to. Hopefully the couple ringers that stayed home will
help team in remaining races. #minnesotastrong
Chad here, for a good portion of my life dedicated everything to Beargrease, was certainly ruined to some degree for us when Erin was on the board and she almost single handily saved race with her fundraising ideas and work during COVID. Anyhow, we wish the race the best, but not entirely shocking.
All the humans here have slightly different political ideas and perspectives and we are all quite independent minded, but we all condemn this fucking insanity, and we still gotta let the poodles run. Thank for understanding.
We aren’t minimizing the atrocity in MN by posting about sleddogs or continuing with a race in that state today, we have deep MN roots and what’s happening is completely appalling and unacceptable. The 🐩 don’t know what’s going on and hope they bring a tiny bit of reprieve from these horrific events
Should mention Slate our 4th leader, if we had an order, getting his first chance to lead on a sled race. (He previously did a couple dryland events in lead).

Yea the ultimate litter. The very best sprint litter to very best distance litter. Voila, *most* dogs good at everything.
Yep and some of the Robinson family stock (and many successful kusko region mushers also) goes to Yin and her maybe slightly more known littermates Ebb and Zig.
She had a main leader that is half sister to Blanca and full sister to nice little girl who was here briefly (not sure if she had pups) and sounds like much of her team goes to sister to to Blanca’s mom and brother to Ham’s dad. Sure that is clear as dirt and sounds a little Amish.
For sure!Jessica bought a legendary dog from Jeff King named Bailey. Lovie and Maiden’s g-pa and related to the rest here too. Assume she has some of that stuff and more importantly she certainly seems like a great person. Emily of course too, shares many of our bloodlines and is so easy to root for
