Didn’t say it was number one concern, but I definitely wouldn’t like to screw over a whole generation of pensions that paid in and lose their money. It’s a broken social contract, and could severely affect their health and wellbeing. And we’ll all be pensioners at some point.

…also, our taxes are used to repay the contributions made to previous generations’ pensions. Without a similar number of younger taxpayers coming through, we’ll be left with a generation of pensioners that paid in and might not be able to get paid out.
