I read it a couple of years ago, and it instantly became one of my all-time favourites. After reading it I got the audiobook so I could enjoy it in a different format.

The trend is in the right direction, but yes there's still a ways to go. I'll be paying attention.

My understanding is that Oasis is a Canadian company that sources oranges from Brazil. We don't tend to buy orange juice so it hasn't been an issue for us but this could be a option for you.

A few months ago, the best I was hoping for after the next election would be a minority conservative government. WOW! Now, I'm starting to think it's possible for the conservatives failing to form the government. A bonus would be the likely end of Poilievre's leadership/political career.

The counter tariff is on hold, and I really hope Ford doesn't back down until all US tariffs against Canada are removed with some guarantee that Trump won't put them on again with his next whim. Unfortunately, I can think of anything the US could do that would get me to trust him.

I knew Trump was going to be bad (eliminating any even semi-competent adults in his cabinet favouring loyalists) and I worried US democracy wouldn't survive a 2nd term, yet I'm still continuously shocked by how many unimaginably horrible things he's done in a short time, in so many different areas.
