Prism (#smartdollsingularity) and Mal (#smartdollnevergonnagiveyouup) enjoy viewing the blossoms (hanami) especially our yoshino (which blooms white).
I love their spring yukatas. What a cute pair.

Mal can join the Gals at the warm weather festivals and fireworks. I finished the Yukata and Obi pattern for Smartdoll Guys My sample was fun because his obi is made from a piece of a REAL woven cotton yukata. I chose a traditional indigo pattern for the robe. (Pattern in shop)

I added ready made items to the shop - basically using the remaining fabric to make additional copies. We added some Jinbei for the Smartdoll Guys and Geta for both Smartdoll Girls and New Guys.

New pattern!

This week, my partner got to realize a dream doll of his. Please meet Shulkie (the canon nickname of She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters). I loved making the dress - inspired by a comix cover and an episode of the series. @dannychoo.bsky.social did an incredible job with this doll (Divergence)

Don't let this stop your love of cosplay. We just need to go old school - being resourceful. We can recycle old or failed or incomplete projects. We can swap scraps or stash with others. There were companies that sold to JoAnn's - they will find other outlets or mayhap allow direct buy options

The bento is based on a vintage one. I really enjoyed making the rice ball wrapped in a realisitic leaf!
Works in 1/3 and 1/4 scale (comes with 1/3 scale chopsticks but 1/4 are available separately).

Went to a doll meet yesterday. It was a morale boost and rare opportunity to see some friends IRL and share a meal. One brought me back the coolest gift from their trip to Japan, a vintage doll pattern book. I can't express how happy it makes me.

Sometimes you spend so much time on a project up close, you don't actually "see" it til you take a photo and it doesn't even seem like the same object.

very short manga series, only 7 volumes translated. My favorite moment is when his friend questions the legality of a high schooler living alone..."it happens all the time in manga.""uh, yeah... cuz its manga!"

oy, ever start a "simple" project that just insists on taking forever. Still working on the fill in stitches, no where near the french knots, etc. These are intended to be bathmats to coordinate with my punch needle bath rug for my 1/6 scale diorama. What the heck was I thinking?!

As young kids, brother & I - there was a time when the only nutrious, filling breakfast and lunch we got was when we were on the program. We honestly thought eggs for breakfast or a salad with a lunch was "grown up food", drinking milk with a meal and not watered down koolaid. Our grades improved...

its growing - by leaps and bounds. I have no doubt it will replace X like FB did MySpace.
