I forgot to account for AI. Only a stupid person would think putting AI in charge of our nukes would be a good idea. Sadly the US government is filled with stupid people.

I think the United States would be the first one to launch a nuke during a nuclear conflict. It will do so to desperately hold on to its empire.
Also historically we have used nuclear weapons against civilian populations so it is definitely in the realm of possibility.
Since the world continues to get worse it is certain that nuclear war is inevitable. It will most likely be spurred by the worst effects of climate change along with capitalist greed and the state wanting to expand its own power and influence.

I want you to think about everything we use oil and natural gas for. Imagine if fossil fuels disappeared or became scarce. We'd be looking at the complete breakdown of the modern-day global system. Everything from trade to your ability to keep the lights on would disappear.
If the middle east loses it's capacity to produce oil due to this war energy costs are going to skyrocket. While we do have green energy we have not made the complete shift away from fossil fuels. Millions of people are going to die indirectly from this conflict.

The literal goal of the United States and Israel is to try and kill as many people as possible and hope for a regime change. Absolutely no regard for human life whatsoever. It's frustrating to see people on here cheering on the US and Israel as if they're the good guys.
