When I think about Portlanders, I have the same attitude of the Canadians.
When you have an audience or a business you have to ensure that you always provide a lot more value to people than you extract from them. If you don't then, long term, it all breaks down.
Young people I talk to today...they feel like the whole entire world has broken this contract with them.

Students say that similar walkouts were planned at multiple other high schools, including Aloha, Sunset, Southridge & more.

I ran the marathon today, and there were lots and lots of signs that said “You’re running so much better than our government” and lots of promos for the next No Kings Day which was fun. Great weather and great crowds!

Every major Democrat has millions in their campaign account. The threat to democracy is big enough that we need to be funding mobilization and messaging right now - not just banking money for the next election.
If we don't build right now, there might not be another election.

An update on the ICE facility. Our administration's investigation has "show[n] more than two dozen detention policy violations of the facility’s land use conditions of approval with the city, which does not allow detainees to be kept overnight or held for more than 12 hours."
