Thank you so much. This is only the beginning.
Thank you so much. This is only the beginning.
These are the issues Iβve dedicated my career toβand why Iβm running for Congress: because this stuff is personal, and itβs worth fighting for.
Grateful for the opportunity to talk with @montclairlocalnews.bsky.social about some of the most pressing issues facing our communitiesβstopping ICE, tackling affordability, clean energy and reconciling the nearly $20 million deficit in our school district β¬οΈ

So grateful to have so many of my colleagues from the Obama Administration behind me in this race! Honored by their faith in my leadership, integrity and ability to deliver real results for NJ-11 in DC.

Big thank you to David Bien-Aime and The Village Green NJ for this thoughtful feature on my campaign & how my life has shaped my progressive agenda for NJ-11!

One day, my kids will ask me what I did in this moment, and I need to be able to show them that I stood up to bullies.
Iβm running for Congress to fight back and to fix the broken status quo that made Trumpβs politics of pain possible.
You can convince yourself that this is how things work now. That someone else will fix it, that staying quiet is easier. Or you can accept that when something is broken and you have the ability to help fix it, stepping up isnβt heroic. Itβs necessary.
When MAGA conspiracy theorists targeted my nonprofit & called me out on the Senate floor, I had to sit my 10-year-old down & explain what to do if the FBI showed up at our door.
I realized then that in these defining moments, silence isnβt neutrality. Itβs permission.
For most of my adult life, I believed in our government. Not blindly, but earnestly. I understood politics could be rough, but I believed that if you followed the law and focused on serving people, the guardrails would hold.
That belief didnβt survive 2025.
A year ago, I had a job I loved and was busy raising my three young kids. Not on my bingo card? Running for Congressβ¦

My favorite part of this campaign has been knocking on doors & connecting with voters directly to hear their concerns, share ideas, and earn their trust.
NJ-11 friends, I hope to see you on your doorstep soon!
So grateful for these kind words of support from one of our wonderful voters, Barbara!

This was an execution β we can clearly see that. No one can deny what this has become. Every Democrat in Congress should be blocking funding for ICE β cut them off, shut it down.

Today, Governor Sherrill proved that rising energy bills arenβt inevitable β theyβre a policy choice. We can go further by building more clean power, making companies accountable, and lowering costs. Thatβs the energy plan Iβm running on. β‘οΈ
Thatβs exactly what Iβm running to do in Congress:
β’ Free solar that plugs into the grid
β’ Making data centers pay their fair share
β’ Tying utility CEO pay to rate hikes β so families arenβt the only ones paying the price
Freezing rates is an important first step. Now we have to go further β by expanding clean, affordable electricity, holding utilities accountable, and making sure monopoly power doesnβt keep driving bills higher.
At a moment when everything feels like itβs getting more expensive, this is what leadership looks like: stepping in, protecting families, and refusing to let working people get squeezed by forces they canβt control.
Today, New Jersey made history. π
Congratulations to Governor Mikie Sherrill on her inauguration β and for making one thing clear on day one: New Jersey families shouldnβt be punished by rising electricity prices.
Grateful for Billβs support as we fight to lower costs, end corruption, and deliver affordable clean energy for NJ families.

New Jersey is where the solar cell was invented β at Bell Labs in 1954. We can lead again by building an energy system that works for people, not just insiders.
The solution is simple: we can lower utility bills quickly by expanding affordable, clean energy.
My energy plan will:
β’ Give free solar for everyone who will plug into the grid
β’ Make data centers pay their fair share
β’ Tie utility CEO pay to rate hikes
Bill gets the core problem: rising energy bills arenβt inevitable. Theyβre the result of corruption, scarcity, and policies that protect monopolies and Big Tech, while the rest of us pay for it.
Honored to be endorsed by @billmckibben.bsky.social β one of the most influential climate leaders in the world. He called our energy plan βthe most dynamic and well-thought-out of any Congressional candidate in America.β That means a lot. πβ‘οΈ
Iβm done watching working families pay the price while our system works for only a handful of Americans. Enough is enough. Iβm running for Congress because motherhood has helped show me whatβs at stake, and I refuse to stand by any longer waiting for someone else to fix the world.
Luckily, my kiddo is fine and sheβs thrilled to be home today watching Bluey with me. But it should not be this complicatedβand no one should be debating if they can afford to get their kid stitches.
I did what any parent would β you just sign the paperwork because your four-year-old is screaming and covered in blood. When you have so little timeβand patienceβyouβll always fight for your kids first and figure out the rest later.
I had the perfect reminder of that Tuesday night in the ER with my daughter, after she had leapt off a kitchen chair. The first thing I had to do when we arrived was fill out paperwork agreeing for the hospital and doctors to bill us separately.
When youβre a parent, you realize very quickly that patience does not pay the electric bill. Gratitude does not fix a broken healthcare system. And being βresilientβ is often just a nicer word for being forced to tolerate things that should not be this hard.
I learned how to fight from my mom. One day, I want my kids to say the same. Iβm running for Congress to fight for every family being told to wait for change. Thanks to @scarymommy.com for the opportunity to share why I'm stepping up: www.scarymommy.com/parenting/mo...
Americans need leaders who are focused on actually fixing problemsβfrom health care costs to crumbling democracies around the globeβnot creating new crises to distract from their own failures.οΏΌ
