I was ashamed of some of our elected officials last night.
I genuinely cannot comprehend how uninformed some of these elected officials are, and how they make sweeping policy decisions while missing the bottom line. Where do you think people will go when they can no longer access this essential service???
Councillor Parnell talked about the importance data and evidence but failed to note the amount of factually incorrect statements from her fellow councillor and didn’t consider the evidence given by experts like Dr. Thomas Piggott.
If you aren’t willing to adjust your views in response to emerging information, you should not be making decisions on our behalf.
