Definitely the character. I get to know them first before the setting has a chance to flesh itself out
A lot of people are gonna say scrivenor or something similar, but I’ll say canva. Canva is huge for me to make graphics and whatnot. Even if not for pitch events, I use graphics for myself to figure out the vibes of a new idea or my characters
Had so much fun checking out everyone’s pitches today and got to connect with some new authors! I tried to keep up with my notifications but if I missed you apologize. I was in back to back meetings at work for 3.5 hours during the prime of the pitching 😵💫
