Absolute Batman: The Zoo (#1-6)
Loving this book so far! Super fun and over-the-top action, a hilariously metal version of Batman and some fun twists on the universally-known Batman canon. Black Mask and the Party Animals are really fun, really brutal villains.

DC All In Special #1
This was a fun read, although it was a little confusing as someone who is not super knowledgeable on current DC lore. This was mainly the case in the "Alpha" story following the Justice League, but it was enjoyable. The Darkseid half of this book, "Omega", was just badass.

I liked this movie, but I really wanted to love it. The retro-futuristic setting was super cool, Galactus was incredible and I liked the family dynamics at play. At the end of the day though, this felt like another Marvel movie albeit a good one.

The Suicide Squad (2021)
After loving Superman, I decided to start watching through all of James Gunn's DC stuff. This movie was gory fun, with a lot of heart within. Great performances throughout, the standout was John Cena as I didn't know he could be that good in a movie.

Donkey Kong Bananza
DUDE. This game is a masterpiece, and somehow topped the exceptional Super Mario Odyssey. Addictive gameplay loop, insanely fun movement, and one of the best endings to a game that I've played in a long time. Absolutely amazing game.

Beautiful graphics, fantastic track design, amazing racing physics and a god-tier soundtrack. This game is very very good, brought down a peg by a sub-par open world and lackluster online experience (3-Lap races are just more fun).

Thunderbolts* (2025)
This is the first MCU project I've watched in a while (fell off the train hard after Moon Knight disappointed me), and it was a good time. Not the greatest movie in the world by any means, but serviceable. Sentry was sick as hell, loved the message of the movie too.

That's fuckin Superman right there dude. Loved every second of this movie, and was a much-needed dosage of hope in a world bleaker than ever. Lex Luthor was the greatest little shithead ever. Being kind is punk rock.

This is considered one of, if not the single greatest, Batman stories ever written for a reason. Alan Moore, on top of looking like a real-life wizard, just has a certain magic about how he writes characters. Simply fantastic.

One of the best things, not just comic books, I've ever read. The story was so engaging and told Marvel's lore from a very interesting perspective, and Alex Ross's art is just to die for. A masterpiece of comic book media.

First time reading this story, and holy shit it was amazing. The quintessential X-Men story, with wonderful writing from Claremont and a sinister yet unfortunately all-too-real antagonist.
