I had the exact same thought.

Mostly a bummer for those with low vision/ use screen readers. They already miss out on so much…alt text lets them experience the web so much better. (Alt text not needed for design flourishes)

Not blasphemous 😊. I question many parts of the Bible. It cannot be taken literally.

It is also easy, if you think about it, to protect your spirit. Do what you need to recharge your battery.

I love that you are getting time to play and DM. At the place where we play - we DMs have been taking turns. And have been taking about scheduling special days for people to learn - and practice- being a DM. I’m so excited!

How did I not know you DM?

(I played 1st Ed in the 70’s & 80’s with my dad as DM.
Then didn’t.
Then picked it up again in 2019- DMed for friends then several groups through pandemic.
Now we have in person games every other week.)

Oh my gosh this was my thought. At 2 am. At 4:12. At 5:32.
My sleep could be interrupted by too much sugar. Too much caffeine. Not enough movement the day before. Needing to go to the bathroom. Too much on my mind.
I miss when sleep lasted all night.

I believe Mamdani’s point could be applied in each of our efforts. This isn’t limited to governing work.

I’m inspired by Mamdani’s words and actions.
