Ellery is a pale, lithe, young trans man with black hair and dark eyes. Callisto is a muscular older man with dark hair, dark eyes and undead, greying flesh. Ellery is breathless after deciding to kiss Callisto. In the first panel, he looks down and says “Huh…?” noticing Callisto’s implied erection. In the following sequence of panels, Callisto runs his hands ticklishly down Ellery’s sides, and says his full name, “Elliot Firth…” Ellery flinches hard, and stammers “This is- I-“ He shuts his eyes, blushing, and pushes himself off of Callisto’s chest, “Goodbye.” He says. He leaves Callisto, but as he passes him, Callisto says “Ha. Where to, now? Another sad dream? What a stupid young man you are.”

and the fact that there are people willing to support me even when I'm just drawing my things in a slow pace right now is pretty fucking cool. 🥺
these do help draw people in, it's true. it's hard not blaming myself when my patronage started dwindling down after I stopped doing so much. but the freedom I'm allowing myself to draw in my terms is priceless, and I'm trying to internalize that more before I try to 'grow' again.
until a couple years ago as an artist on Patreon I thought I HAD to do monthly polls, interactive stuff and high quality art frequently for my audience. eventually I realized I was making things more difficult for myself following the model of what I thought every other 'succesful' artist was doing
anyway just wanted to put in perspective from a creator's side how much a contribution, small as it might seem, makes a great difference for them. your tip matters!
and I'm saying a few, but really it's a LOT. any number of ppl willing to back an artist, even just once, is so rare and so fucking cool. I get the majority of us can't afford it, I wish I could support so many more creators, so being aware of that reality makes the backing I get even more special.
it was such a big difference that it felt like a lot of people joined suddenly, but in reality $40 is just 8 new people in my $5 tier - maybe 9 if we consider patreon's fees, and counter-balancing the people who cancel their pledges. still. just a few new people made a big difference in my payout >
to ppl who do or consider supporting artists on paysites and think their few bucks contribution isn't a lot:
my payout this month was 40 USD higher than last month's. this was a big surprise for me as I my payouts had been slowly declining for a while now. this was a difference of +180 BRL for me!>
