Foundation cardi - sleeve 2 out of 3 in the works. Sleeve 1 proved too capacious, so "artfully" reducing on second and will frog back first and reknit. Happy to find these red and brown buttons, the brown was feeling *very brown*- needed a tiny bit of something else. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
Interesting thinking! Only ever did one garment w seaming and it was just 2 straight side seams...any advice for armhole seaming?
These are great and I love to see people actually wearing their sweaters!! it really seems to say "this fits and I enjoy wearing it!" - which I says a ton about a design imo.

Nice - I looked at the original pattern (now fav'd) and the colors are quite contrasting to show off the design but too much so for me, prefer your color choice- still a lot of contrast, but much more of a middle-earth mood.
Brown cardigan work in Progress- top down Raglan knit in bulky wool. shown worn by knitter. Sleeves still to be knit as as well as button band and collar and a bit more of the body. Pattern - Foundation cardigan (womens XL worn by size 14 person)
Bit of a stretch for wild/animal theme - but my Foundation cardigan knit in "Otter Chaos" is coming along! #showmeyourknits #knitsky stitch please wool, bulky. This brown is not as varied as the "olive you" I used from them for my daughter's card., but still pretty and a great color on me.

Just read this article in National Geographic about resurrecting Scots, although it doesn't sound like it's actually dead ha ha ha ha- they mention Len Pennie as an influencer leading the charge. My mother though of Irish descent would often have a Scot's sword or two for us- eg skinnymalink...

Never again with a bottom up sweater!!! Had already redone the sleeves a few times so pretty sick of frogging... I mean I enjoy knitting but not that much.
Felted bulky colorwork sweater in blues and greys
sizing snafu on this sweater- enormous even for my husband! I soaked it and it was as big as a horse blanket, I thought oh hell- gonna felt this. Fabric is now gorgeous/thick and seems to fit me (whoops)... I guess once it's finally dry I'll really know for sure. #showmeyourknits

Handknit v-neck pullover vest in grey baby alpaca - laid on a pink bedspread.
One of my favorite things to wear- baby alpaca 🦙 vest in a lovely grey. #showmeyourknits #knitsky recommend doing armhole ribbing with wool or wool blend for better shape - and mybe one day i will redo. But for now just a wonderfully cozy layer. The feel is so silky, very little pilling.
