It's not been too bad. My plot is at the bottom of the hill, so gets quite a bit of run off. The raised beds do mitigate against that though. My potatoes are chitting nicely too. Got them on the windowsill in the home office/spare bedroom...

Prototype number one done. Cats have decided my raised beds are their latrines and I currently have chicken wire covering the beds. It doesn't allow the birds to get in and feed on the bugs and worms. So I thought I'd try weaving something...

Spent the afternoon allotmenteering. Was worried my garlic wasn't showing, but it is. Planted my birthday white currants, cleared the last of the parsnips from one bed and mulched it with well rotted horsemuck and stacked the willow.
