17 hour travel day from Seattle to Houston because Seattle got a few inches of snow and I’m probably lucky I made it here at all.

Anyway, if your flight keeps getting delayed for several hours only to finally get on the plane and then not move or hear any announcements about why you aren’t moving for a long period of time… that’s their delay tactic to timeout & get the flight canceled.
Then an announcement: “crew has timed out & everyone has to deplane.” Cockpit door is open & pilots hi 5 each other immediately after the announcement. Did they just manipulate a stay over trip in Seattle and getting our flight canceled or does it just seem that way @alaskaairlines.bsky.social
I’m fairly certain the flight crew pulled shenanigans timing out and getting our flight canceled. The proceeding flight “missed” the gate & after already being 2 hours late. After loading we sat silent for 40 minutes not moving.

I feel the same about a surprise snow storm in Seattle that has kept me at the airport for going on 7 hours with an already canceled flight and switched onto a new one that is supposed to leave in another 2 hours.
