I'm just confused as to why its doing that to me and, so far, no one else. Was sort of hoping someone else could relate so I know I'm not crazy 😅
Well I'm not saying I don't love videogames anymore. But I used to not want to do anything else in my free time, and for the first tine in my life I don't feel the "need" to play games.
And the only thing I can pinpoint thats changed in my life is my ADHD diagnosis and medication 🤷
Soooo anyone else with ADHD just not liking their old hobbies anymore after taking meds?
I used to live and breathe gaming. Now, I have not once booted up a game on my free time in roughly 2 months 😱
Been reading a ton and writing tho 🤷

Finished White Lotus. I found the finale way too predictable, and I was also reminded how garbage most humans are in this show 😅
Overall I liked it more than Season 1 I think but Season 2 stays the best
Turns out that the composer had a falling out in part over the choice of not including the chants in the season at all and he won't be coming back for season 4 and now I'm sad. 😥
There is an uncut version of the White Lotus Season 3 theme with the chants and I'm losing my mind its so good! 😱
The cut version grew on me as the season progressed, but man I'm so sad we didnt get the full thing 😭

I was all in to get the Switch 2 at release, but none of the games really jazzed me up and at that price point (725$ taxes in CAD) I think I'm actually gonna wait a while.
I have the money and I'm honestly a bit sad that I'm not more excited but not everything is for everyone and thats okay 😊

Nowadays, there seems to be so many apps to write your novel/world building/etc. It can make your head spin!
I personally use Scrivener for everything and Inkarnate for maps. But I'm thinking of maybe adding something like Pinterest/Obsidian to brainstorm.
What about you?
How much world building/character building do you do ahead of time?
I'm writing Sci-Fi/Fantasy so worldbuilding tends to require more time upfront for me, characters are thinner, I tend to discover their personality etc as I'm writing.
Looking online, there seems to be more plotters than pantsers.
Me I'm very much a pantser through and through, the only thing I sorta know in advance are character concepts, parts of the worldbuilding and a tone/type of story I'd like to aim for.

Spent the evening with my childhood friends that I hadn't talked to in over 20+ years.
I was afraid it would be awkward and it really wasn't. We immediately reconnected and I was reminded why we had been friends in the first place so long ago.
I loved every minute of it, it felt like coming home.

Started writing again! Hadn't written anything for almost a year as I worked on the story in my mind and got too busy with life. But it feels good to be back into it. Knocked out Chapter 1 this past week and I'm excited to keep going!

Man I had loved The Expanse TV show, but the books are fantastic!
Been reading them along the audiobook and Jefferson Mays does such a great job it feels lile I'm watching a brand new, different yet similar TV show.
Just finished Book 2, excited to start Abaddon's Gate!
Can't believe it after so many technical difficulties last week but we're live with more Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna, the Golden Country!
