I've been thinking a lot about why the celebrity emphasis on #Survivor50 is so annoying.

Will have more on this in my #Survivor recap later.

Yikes. Those are the only reasons GMs can think of? Y’all sure about that? Cause I can think of at least one big one.

If MLS says they’re spending millions on marketing, they might want to audit the books to see where that money is actually going. I’ve seen pretty much nothing.

Cannot hype him up enough. First guy I saw to take MLS tactics seriously and communicate it to a general audience. He's one of the big reasons I'm an MLS fan. Join the newsletter!

It is of course well known by now that ICE agents do not want to be seen. They cover their faces; they drive unmarked cars; they have been told by their own leadership not to wear insignia stating that they work for any of the deportation agencies when they are off the clock. The gangs of masked, armed men committing anonymous violence in the streets of Minneapolis of course evoke past instances of racial terror in America – like the masked men of the Ku Klux Klan, who also did their best to eradicate racial undesirables from American communities.

Any path back to political stability in the United States must involve a reckoning with what ICE is doing
Perhaps ICE’s homicidal rage at the Americans who film them represents this same refusal to countenance being seen, being witnessed, being documented doing what they are doing to innocent people. In that sense, perhaps their actions towards observers like Good and Pretti exhibit a sense of shame. Some, like Tom Nolan, a former Boston police commander and criminology professor who once advised the DHS on civil rights issues, are calling Pretti’s death at ICE’s hands a stone cold murder. You could also call it the elimination of a witness.

Emotional vigil held for man killed by off-duty ICE agent on New Year's Eve Sunday evening, a crowd of about 50 gathered at the Village Pointe apartment complex in Northridge to grieve Keith Porter Jr., who was fatally shot on New Year's Eve by an off-duty ICE agent.

Federal immigration agents have now shot and killed multiple people since Trump took office a year ago. Today alone marks the second deadly ICE shooting IN A WEEK. An off-duty shot and killed a 43-year-old father in CA on Dec. 31.

The Todoroki family arc is probably my favorite part of MHA. I think Endeavor‘s arc is really well done too! That being said, I’m team Fuck Endeavor Five-Ever. Natsuo’s got the right idea lol

Leo Messi finally wins the one trophy he's pursued his entire life: MLS Cup.

Now officially the GOAT.

I definitely treat Miami as the villain of MLS (for good reason), but Messi is just so undeniably good. And it’s hard not to be romantic about Alba and Busquets retiring. #MLSCup
