Technically, what we’re not feeling like celebrating is the fusion of Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays.
You can’t choose which world of shit you’re born into, but you CAN choose how to live in it. You can’t even choose what shit goes through your head, but you can choose what you do. No matter how hopeless it seems or how helpless you feel, this is ALWAYS true.
