Well yes, you do have to drill holes to get wires from outside to inside.

I love mine! We originally only used it when we traveled so we wouldn’t have to have a sitter for the 3 days we were gone.

Spent some time making my pallet compost bins more attractive. I'll put fence pickets around the outside to help blend it in, and cut up pallet boards on the inside of the compost bin to help contain soil.

The pallets and boards are heat treated, whereas the fence pickets are pressure treated.

That is pretty sweet! We are pretty lucky in the MidWest where mass fires like this aren't really a concern for us. Sure, they do happen, but not enough for me to think about.

I am glad it does exist for those that need it.
