They do donβt they π€ freshly painted me thinks
They do donβt they π€ freshly painted me thinks
If youβre feeling that now Monday has arrived the weekend has hit the buffers donβt despair π thereβs another one only a few days away π
π you are still very much included
To all the incredible women Iβve been lucky enough to know, Happy International Womenβs Day!
Aww thatβs a piece of treasure right there π
Iβm miffed I missed World Book Day apparently.
I was going to dress as the Train Driverβs Rulebook π€
Iβd just need to wear something very heavy, be awkward to move about and keep randomly getting changed every few hours π
Oh absolutely but not today
I must confess I didnβt! Though in my defence we were in a 745 so no proper vroom cupboard π
Youβve been reading the drivers manual havenβt you π
I met a fascinating chap today who started life on the railway working on these for British Rail!
He was very impressed by the cab of my Stadler, particularly the air conditioning and sausage roll holder π
This is an excellent idea! I shall try it out. This morning it was only just beginning to get light when I finished my first journey π© but only 2 more early shifts to go π₯³
A bit later tomorrow, 0420hr is my alarm π’ Haha now youβve got me wondering! Is putting the flasks in the freezer part of a clever plan?
Iβd love to argue but I think you may be right π
Is pretty much what I thought when I realised. Although itβs not what I said π
Nooo π
π I see you were on board when I realised. Thatβs most kind, fortunately I do keep a spare as I know what Iβm like!
Some idiot (possibly me) threw away my flask and carefully packed the paper cup from Costa in my work bagβ¦ Iβm blaming these early shifts π€¦ββοΈ
Iβll let him know and maybe once heβs stopped screaming heβll consider it π
My shift swap partner is temporarily broken so Iβm having to try and survive both sides of the shift π’
What a wonderful plan! Iβll make a mental note of the bakers just in case Iβm across that way π
Today is my first early so Iβm ready to leap into action like a coiled springβ¦ or maybe just flop into action like a failed shock absorber π€
Have a great week!
It is indeed Ipswich π ah I see your thinking, so they should paint the shrubbery and trees orange and black to blend in π€ what a cunning plan π
Thatβs very kind, thank you π
Same thing could be safe for a few car makers π€ love that Intercity livery, great photos!
Blooming right!
Very true! Sound advice π
Not many people know that the Class 90 tends to hunt in packs.
They use long grass for cover and sneak up on unsuspecting prey.
If you see one itβs best not to approach it as there could be more you havenβt seen π€
Thank you!
Ooh snow ploughs oβclock!
