Implications for teaching? Reading and writing assessments: dead. But the humanities aren't just disrupted – they have sth to offer: slow reading, writing as thinking. If they create space for it. The future skill isn't prompt engineering – it's thinking and communicating clearly. 🎯

The worst responses right now: dismissing LLMs as "stochastic parrots" (they're far better than that) or reducing the problem to citation guidelines. The university where I teach still tells students how to "cite from AI" – as if an LLM were a database. It's not. 🤷
