They talked about it a little bit on the podcast that came out this week, but it was enough to get me to play the first couple of hours of Hell is Us the next day. Yeah. Just instantly a game that deserves way more attention.

Techbros are desperate to get their customers to care about the diminishing returns of annual hardware releases, because their entire business model relies on extremely speculative promises. Console Manufacturers are no different.
Another tough day for team βthereβs no point in complaining about AI, just accept it.β
The steam machine was such a cool idea for like 5 minutes before the reality of chip shortages and bad business decisions have left it in value limbo.
Yes it would be awesome to have an easy way to play any steam game on a decently powered device on my TV, but no price yet is lmao
Cancel it
Okay fine, new plan then: I'll play through DQ7R, and then I'll play through 1 and 2 again. Shouldn't take long if I'm not streaming them. If anything I'll just have a much better, fresher idea of those games in my head. Whenever I find the energy/time to make another video, that is.

BOTH games again. It deleted both 1 and 2.
File History was off by default (as it probably should be,) so yeah. It's all gone. I'd have to play through the whole game again.
Sleep paralysis demon
I'm gonna give that a try when I'm done with work. Fingers crossed!
I will try a system restore to see if I can get them back.
Just half-asleep organizing folders and I...just...it's all gone.
I just deleted all of my Dragon 1 and 2 HD-2D Footage permanently. The whole playthrough is gone. I- I was going to make a video with it and for some reason I just thought I didn't need it. I was clearing out stuff and I- fuuuuuuck.
FYI, the wash basin can be filled with Water Gun. When you do that, Pokemon will water stuff for you.
Alright. Restarting my Pokopia playthrough, so this shall be the Pokopia thread. Might make another for my creative build stuff later. No spoilers about story or anything in here. Just gonna post silly things.
I have to restart my Pokopia playthrough because I didn't know I could just use my US account for the game...I can't play with my friends unless I start over....
I genuinely think this is how a real-time clock mechanic should function in games like this. You can stagger out activities in different areas, and then give players cause to revisit those areas later on to check in on the pieces revolving around the RTC. This is a great implementation.
I have played enough Pokopia to say that the real-time clock mechanics are almost entirely unintrusive to the general progression of the game, and in the way it's used in-game, becomes a neat component to coming back to it the next day.
I'm dumb and didn't realize if you give yourself a house in every Pokopia zone, you can just fast travel to each town that way.
Got some really snazzy joycon 2 grips to try mouse mode in Pokopia again, and it definitely helps with the way I hold it? But I'm still struggling to hit the face buttons in that position. What a bummer!!!!! Ah well, the regular controls are perfectly good. Just a little sad I can't point-and-click.
It's weird because I only noticed today that it was posting way more of those, so maybe they just changed how often it does it or something recently.
It was checked thank you very much!
...is it just me, or is the following feed getting interrupted with more "popular with friends" posts?
in case you've never seen it, this is Roger Ebert on The Mummy
The best advice I have for writers is: the harder you try to impress people with your prose, the worse your prose will be. Sit down and try to communicate honestly, you will find the places for your flourishes and metaphors that actually serve greater meaning rather than your own ego.
The sewer man episode still creeps me the heck out
Outside of the obvious immediate effects and people no fearing for their livelihood. I think one of the most awful effects of these layoffs in the Western industry, is the sheer breadth of systemic knowledge we're losing. Having devs and workers that know systems or ideas is vital to games.
