yue qingyuan is the #1 most dependable person who can be relied upon for everyone. but it's unclear if yue qingyuan can depend on anyone else but himself. and the way that shen jiu treats yue qingyuan takes yue qingyuan's ability to endure silently and in isolation for granted

alas. when people ask "why didn't yue qingyuan tell shen jiu about the caves" i always think "i dont know if shen jiu has proven himself to be a good person to tell about the caves"
