I think because Vash’s body trauma is so visible people forget all of what wolfwood went through also. I also love imagining that despite all that has happened, he still gets insecure about a little body fat because he’s only a man after all. Subtle reminders of his and Vash’s humanity

Wolfwood is like a mountain with gravestones dotting his chest and large orange ivy leaves sprouting around them. The overall scene is bathed in warm orange, pink hues with contrasting blues. Along his right shoulder the punisher is wrapped with blue-tattered cloth fluttering in wind, behind it is the wolf-skull trigger repeated in yellow. Behind wolfwood is a large yellow halo, little triangles aimed at his head like the scope of a gun. Vash sits on top of wolfwood’s hand, which is holding a warm colored burning cigarette. Vash is looking up at wolfwood and reminisces about the past and what could have been.
