I was aware of T. Rex and Bang a Gong in the day, but I was unaware of Bolan until a deep dive into glam rock a few years ago.

I was only in the one, but I also had friends in Pet Sematary. Also, one of my few "celebrity" encounters -- chatted with one of the stars, who had been booted from playing John Lennon in a biopic because while he went by Mark Lindsay, Yoko found out his real last name was Chapman.
Makes me think of:
*shrug* "Sorry."
I was an extra in Stephen King's The Langoliers. Easiest and funnest paycheck I ever earned. Background work in Stephen King movies was a cottage industry in and around Bangor for a while.
He was my fave by looks, but for a long time, before I saw any video, I thought he and Chuck had each other's voices.
How did I never know the name of this Sly/Family Stone song before now? #at40
And in local weirdness, Elijah Blue Allman, Cher's son with Gregg, was arrested twice this month in NH for something like a break-in at one of NH's notorious boarding schools. I'm a little hazy on details about the incident, but I remember when Elijah Blue was a baby and I loved his name.
Don't care. I like this.
We had some overnight in NH.
Saw the current iteration of Yes in '24 as the opener for Deep Purple on their Smoke on the Water 50th anniversary tour. Had a broken foot at the time and was driven to handicapped seating next to the stage!
I loved Melanie, but no memory of this one.
That's my shag.
I thought they spelled it Oneders (One + ders)?
Thank you! Can you name the haircut?
Present, but distracted by life. 1972? I believe it was spring of 8th grade for me (although this class pic would've been taken in the fall '71). Into chorus, drama, majorettes.
Thank you! Still low-energy, but better.
I can't make it this week, but you kids have fun.
I'll have to look and see if I still have it.
That probably wasn't the reason, at least for that one. Just a fuzzy memory.
I love Black Water and it conjures great memories, but I always preferred the flip side and bought the 45 for it.
I saw them in the '80s. Sadly, I remember nothing of the concert.
"Now I'm here ..."
I didn't know that for sure, but it makes sense.
This is the first time I've noticed Minnie singing "Maya" repeatedly at the end. For her daughter, I presume. #at40
Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings are touring again, and this year they're coming to the US. With Don Felder.
Same. It always spoke to me, although the party van was a Ford.
I remember that story.
Thanks!
