When life starts to feel a little too loud this is where I come to recalibrate. There’s something about the way the boardwalk winds through the trees, steady, unhurried, asking nothing of me, that helps me find my footing again.
Listening to women isn’t radical. Believing women isn’t optional. Informed consent isn’t a favour - it’s a right. How many more stories will it take before women’s voices are taken seriously?
Women are still not being listened to. We are told our pain is normal. We are told we’re overreacting. We are told to wait. And when we finally reach specialists, we’re expected to trust without question.
