Because of the US putting pressure on the Jamaican government. This really breaks my heart. I am of Jamaican stock and we have had decades of friendly relations with Cuba. Now the US hold Jamaica to ransom, essentially creating problems where there were none!
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
