I definitely agree with "1 or 2 designs being sus" cause like, even I pop a vein looking at green cinderace, but for the most part, the designs are pretty nice. I'd honestly even argue their best designs were the ones that didn't have a clear "reference", like Herbil or Leezpunk

Also, before pitchforks get raised at me, reminder that I like BOTH Pokemon AND Palworld. And I like them both for vastly different reasons. I'm very much not an "anti-nintendo" dude trying to "Stick it to the man" or whatever

As someone who HAS explained why I like Palworld in the past, I'll toss my 2 cents in the whole Pickmon thing

At the very least Palworld EXPLICITLY did SOMETHING different from Pokemon, by being more like an Ark type of game
