G4 scientists be ready for the next international meeting on G4 structures - G4thering, which I organize with Robert Hänsel-Hertsch and Harald Schwalbe.

Amazing latest development in NAR demonstrating a direct role of DNA methylation for anti-viral activity. This is also in line with what recently shown by @paeschkelab.bsky.social showing that DNA G-quadruplex structure can play a role in anti-viral activity! Exciting epigenetic times ahead!
