Han spiller på instrumenter bygd av Arnt Rian og Tyko Runesson. Andreas spiller vanligvis alene, som på platene «Taiga», «Ito», «Tre», «Unu» og «V. (Bach)», iblant med yndlingsmusikerne sine, som på «Maus», «Fir» og «Eon». Han har opptrådt i USA, Skandinavia og Storbritannia, og gir ut platene sine på Øra Fonogram. // Andreas Aase is from Trondheim, Norway, and performs his own music for acoustic guitar, weaving outwards from Scandinavian traditions. His eight solo album «Taiga» continues his ongoing life project: To create a poetic, wide-ranging guitar repertoire that always retains a deep connection to Nordic phrases and rhythms – a quiet, yet powerful manner of playing that is both modern and timeless, improvised and arranged, warm and distinctive. He plays instruments built by Arnt Rian and Tyko Runesson. Andreas usually performs solo, as on the records «Taiga», «Ito», «Tre», «Unu» and «V. (Bach)», sometimes with his favorite musicians, as on «Maus», «Fir» and «Eon». He has performed in the United States, Scandinavia and Great Britain, and he records for Øra Fonogram.
