The Brantford Website uses vague language and even conflicting language at times about pedal assist bikes on trails. And the best thing about vague legal language at the municipal level is that you then default to the provincial standards, which states ebikes are bikes.
It’s part of the #HamOnt–#Brantford #RailTrail…
But it starts on Mohawk St, crosses Birkett Ln 3 times & twists sharply through farm fields like no rail line normally would.
The km markers say one thing. The layout says another.

You might be right about it not needing any. I might have to test it out with my data turned off next time I'm out.
I used the free version of the app Relive. It tracks your route when you start and stop recording. It requires minimal phone data when you're out and about.
