Picked this up at the library based off the title alone, and then read it in 3 days. It’s been a long time since I was that hooked in a nonfiction book. Amazing book, I have recommended it to several people already. This one is going to stick with me for a while.
Devoured this book in 3 days. Excellent narrative storytelling following several families, with data and stats interwoven. Extremely timely with current SNAP events and talk of affordability.
