With 100% of votes in, Thomson becomes the first Democratic mayor of Boca Raton in over 30 years.

Biden tried to persuade her to retire, but she was afraid he wouldn’t appoint a true progressive to replace her. Then Trump pulled a reverse McConnell when she died. We are so often tripped up by a failure of the imagination, a refusal to picture the worst-case scenario.

Nice! I’ve only made baked French toast once, but it was divine. When I start cooking again that is going to be the first breakfast I perfect. Both pan (because I am usually ravenous in the morning) and baked (for dinner!). But probably not on the same day.
