I would reccomend X as well as a start. Then you go backwards. This year I wanna try playing more FFVI, every time I try I just don't play it past the first session. I gave FFV a try last year but I think I stopped 1/3rd of the way in.

On that note I'd love to try to play FF12 zodiac age but like. You have to be going into it expecting Fantasy Star Wars to enjoy it

Now sometime Final Fantasy could've been a little more idk. Balanced with some gameplay elements like it's still a pain I'm the ass to use status magic unless you know the enemy well. Maybe I need to play the new Tactics game, I only ever played Tactics advance
