ASL and English are not the same language.
ASL has no written form.
Reading English subs is not = to seeing ASL & many Deaf ppl need sign to fully understand info.

A picture of white text on a gray background that reads as follows: I am not a 100% believer that "well as long as you are worried about whether or not you're a bad person then that means you're not bad!" because people who have "bad" tendencies can and do worry about how they are seen by others. But I also believe someone who worries almost constantly about it, and whose actions to as many people as possible have been Kind, Loving, and Supportive could not be "bad"? I very much understand the worry of "oh no have I manipulated or tricked these people into liking me". I have been reassured by so many friends and acquaintances that is not the case, but that can make me worry even more "oh no, now I've fooled them into thinking I'm good AND forced them to placate my feelings!" However, even if I have a hard time believing it, I find it's easier to think "Well what- am I calling my friends liars? Do I think they're idiots and stupid? Because that's what I'd be doing if I decided to not believe them." So... Trust the opinions of those who love you, and those who even just are acquainted with you instead of the words of someone who has outright stated that they dislike you and will thus have a worse baseline opinion of you and your actions.
Said something like this to a friend today, but I think everyone could use hearing this:
Just do your best to be your best. Treat others with kindness and understanding until they have proven they deserve otherwise.
