Just back from a King’s College London official visit to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou with fellow Vice Deans (Education) and colleagues from admissions, careers and marketing.
Great experience to attend a breakfast roundtable at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) with H.E. Prime Minister Albin Kurti of Kosovo, MPs, and representatives from the UK media, civil society, and academia.
Thank you @profjacob.bsky.social, that is kind to say. Your reasoning is correct - in my case, publishing in interdisciplinary journals has been behind it. My work doesn’t lend itself to citations by the CJEU (which don’t show up on Google scholar anyway).
First day of teaching today. A one-off special Introduction to the (English) Common Law for our international LLM Law students at King’s.
A visit to the Ancient Agora in Athens to mark the end of the holiday.
